Non Rare Earth intensifying screens contain high quality calcium tungstate phosphor. Compared to rare earth phosphor this phosphor exhibits a more linear response over a broad kVp range.

Non Rare Earth screens are available in three speeds (for general diagnostic radiography): High Plus, Medium and Detail.

 This blue emitting calcium screen has a relative system speed of 200 when used with a medium speed (full speed) blue sensitive film. This screen is recommended for general radiography providing an efficient balance of speed and image quality.
DETAIL

 This blue emitting calcium tungstate screen has a relative system speed of 50 when used with a medium speed (full speed) blue sensitive film. This product is sometimes used as a single screen with single emulsion for high detail studies.


THESE SCREENS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH FULL OR MEDIUM SPEED BLUE SENSITIVE FILM. DO NOT USE THESE SCREENS WITH GREEN SENSITIVE OR HALF SPEED BLUE SENSITIVE FILM.
